Three little fishies adopts a tread lightly approach to living utilising up-cycled wares, local suppliers and ensuring sustainable cleaning practices. Waste including waste water, is managed on-site.
Treading lightly
Rewind to the mid to late 1900's, the cottage was home and a place of boat building to renowned shipwright, the late Ray Kemp. Remnants of Kemp's legacy can be seen throughout the cottage today.
Kemp was the shipwright for the New Lady Nelson, a replica of the original boat that was part of the first fleet to land on Van Diemen's Land in 1803. This tall ship sails majestically up and down the Derwent River and can be seen from time to time returning to Woodbridge.

I absolutely adored this dear little home on the water. Ren has taken the greatest care with every detail...its interior is curated with such otherworldy charm, and the cottage garden has the same picture book beauty. It was the most delightful few days and if you want something special you truly can't go past three little fishies.
